PRICE and purchase
of paintings
by Jean-claude bossel
New speculative
pricing models
bridging art and business.
The selling price of Jean-Claude Bossel’s paintings is set by the Swiss company Jean-Claude Bossel Créations Sà rl, which represents the artist’s interests in the art market while ensuring consistency and transparency in the pricing strategy.
Jean-Claude Bossel's paintings are divided into two price categories:
CATEGORY I
“Normal” paintings (without encrypted message)CATEGORY II
Paintings containing encrypted messages
The purchase price increases regularly, from month to month, according to two calculation methods:
A first mathematical formula, rigorously based on exponential curves, is used to calculate the price of CATEGORY I paintings (works that do not contain encrypted messages).
A second mathematical formula, based on exponential growth much faster than that used for CATEGORY I, is applied to CATEGORY II paintings (works containing encrypted messages).
In any case, the price depends on the dimensions of the painting (horizontal and vertical length) and on the date of sale (month and year).
Two examples
of the pricing model
for Category II paintings
The acquisition of CATEGORY II paintings is particularly attractive for investors during the accelerated growth phase of 2025–2026, a period that offers significant speculative potential and the prospect of high returns.

a legal information about
THE SALE PRICE OF
JC Bossel’s PAINTINGs
Based on numerous discussions held in recent years with leading professionals in the international art market (galleries and art advisors in Switzerland, Europe, Asia, and the USA), the speculative pricing model developed by the Swiss company Jean-Claude Bossel Créations Sà rl for Jean-Claude Bossel’s paintings, founded on rigorous exponential mathematical formulas and a transparent control of future price evolution, appears to be a radical innovation. As such, it can sometimes be surprising or even unsettling within the contemporary art market.
For this reason, the model has been subject to legal review by the artist’s Swiss legal counsel, resulting in a formal legal opinion (in French: “avis de droit”).
This opinion confirms the full legality of the pricing process, provided that the buyer is clearly informed that the sale price of the painting must not be confused with the painting’s market value, and that no ambiguity exists at the time of the financial transaction between the seller and the buyer / collector / investor.
See below.
DO NOT CONFUSE
THE SALE PRICE OF A PAINTING
WITH ITS MARKET VALUE !
WHAT IS THE CALCULATED SALE PRICE
OF A PAINTING ?
The CALCULATED SALE PRICE of a painting (by Jean-Claude Bossel) is set by the company JEAN-CLAUDE BOSSEL CRÉATIONS SÀRL, according to a speculative commercial strategy based on rigorous mathematical formulas of exponential nature.
Our gallery has no legal influence over the resale price that may be set by a collector, an investor, or an art gallery reselling a painting by Jean-Claude Bossel on the secondary market (including, for instance, at auction).
Therefore, the market price of a painting may, depending on circumstances, be lower, equal to, or higher than the calculated sale price.
WHAT IS THE “VALUE”
OF A PAINTING ?
The VALUE of a painting, that is, its actual MARKET PRICE, is by nature unstable and subject to fluctuations. It is determined by the laws of supply and demand, by current economic conditions, and by the judgments of various actors in the art world : insurers, experts, art advisors, collectors, investors, auctioneers, etc.
